Role Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients in recovering and improving their speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities through therapy.
  • Communicate patient progress or issues to supervisors and team members; assist with scheduling and daily documentation.
  • Document patient care in compliance with regulatory, licensing, payer, and accreditation standards.
  • Educate patients' families and nursing staff on follow-up programs.
  • Maintain equipment and work area in a safe, clean condition.
  • Adhere to the Company’s Code of Business Conduct, compliance standards, professional standards, and applicable laws.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program or meeting ASHA certification requirements.
  • Meet the education and experience criteria for ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology.
  • At least six months of speech therapy experience with adult and geriatric populations.
  • Current, unrestricted Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of practice.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours and weekends.

Hourly rate: $55.00.
