Job summary

Eduro Healthcare's Southwest Montana Veteran's facility in Butte, MT is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for PRN coverage to deliver high-quality resident care and support staff. The role emphasizes geriatric care, confidentiality, and adherence to regulations.

Requires accredited SLP education, active licensure or CFY, and a willingness to participate in orientation. In-person, long-term care environment with daily pay options is offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathologist program.
• Active SLP license or CFY registration in the state of employment.
• Experience with geriatric patients is a plus.
• Completion of orientation required by company policy.
• Health screening and TB test within two weeks of employment.
• Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations relating to the job.
• Evidence of identity and eligibility for employment within 3 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate a resident’s condition and develop an SLP rehabilitation plan.
• Help residents through tasks and monitor performance.
• Inform residents about recovery stages and expectations.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and protect facility operations.
• Supervise CFYs when required.
• Maintain a safe, infection-controlled work environment.
• Conform to applicable laws and professional requirements.
• Contribute to inter-disciplinary team care.

Speech Language Pathologist Job Responsibilities

• Evaluate a Resident’s condition and develop an appropriate SLP rehabilitation plan.
• Help Residents through their tasks and monitor their performance.
• Inform Residents what they should anticipate in different stages of their recovery and how they will handle each situation.
• Maintain Resident confidence and protect facility operations by keeping information confidential.
• Supervise the activities of CFYs when required.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by protecting Residents and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
• Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.
• Contribute to inter-disciplinary team efforts in resident care.

Speech Language Pathologist Requirements

• Must be a graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathologist program.
• Must hold current and active SLP license or registration in state employed or CFY
