Job summary

University Hospitals Avon Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for inpatient rehabilitation on a PRN basis in Beachwood, OH. You will assess speech, language, and swallowing, develop and implement treatment plans, educate patients and families, and collaborate with care teams to ensure exceptional patient care.

The position requires a Master's in Speech-Language Pathology, OH licensure, ASHA certification, CPR, and strong clinical judgment; acute/rehab

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• OH license in good standing required.
• ASHA certification preferred and CPR certification required.
• Strong communication and clinical judgement essential.
• Experience in acute or rehabilitation settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Educate patients and families regarding therapy goals.
• Document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams on care coordination.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

Applicants should have a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology and a current SLP license in OH. Additional requirements include:

• ASHA certification
