Job Description

Responsibilities:

1. Provide therapy to maximize speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities, aiding patient recovery and confidence.
2. Communicate patient progress or issues to supervisors and team members; assist with scheduling and post charges daily.
3. Document patient care in compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
4. Instruct families and nursing staff on follow-up care programs.
5. Maintain equipment and work area safety and cleanliness.
6. Adhere to the company's Code of Business Conduct, compliance policies, professional standards, and legal requirements.
7. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

1. Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program or meeting ASHA certification requirements.
2. Meet the education and experience criteria for ASHA’s Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology.
3. At least six months of experience working with adult and geriatric populations as a Speech Therapist or SLP.
4. Current, unrestricted Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of practice.
5. Current CPR certification.
6. Strong organizational and communication skills.
