Role Responsibilities
  • Provide therapy to help patients improve speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities.
  • Communicate patient progress or issues to supervisors and team members; assist with scheduling and billing.
  • Document patient care in compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Instruct family or nursing staff on follow-up programs.
  • Maintain equipment and work area safety and cleanliness.
  • Adhere to company policies, professional standards, and legal requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program or meeting ASHA certification requirements.
  • Meet the education and experience criteria for ASHA's Certification of Clinical Competence.
  • At least six months of experience working with adult and geriatric populations.
  • Current, unrestricted Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of practice.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
