Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients within 24–48 hours of physician orders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Treat communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
  • Communicate with physicians, care teams, patients, and families.
  • Document evaluations, progress, and billing accurately.
  • Participate in care planning and discharge processes.
  • Provide caregiver and staff training.
  • Recommend equipment and strategies to support outcomes.

Role Summary

As a PRN Speech-Language Pathologist, you will evaluate and treat patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. You’ll collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver individualized, patient-centered care in accordance with ASHA standards and state licensure requirements.
