Job summary

MedCare Pediatric Group in Texas is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to assess and treat pediatric clients. You will conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop individualized plans, and address communication, articulation, language, feeding, and swallowing while documenting progress with the medical team.

The role offers flexible scheduling with Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN options, after-school and Saturday availability, plus a sign-on bonus and strong mentorship and support.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
• Texas SLP license or eligible to obtain licensure by start date.
• One year of experience preferred; new graduates encouraged to apply.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Experience supervising assistants preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on each child's needs.
• Provide speech therapy addressing communication, articulation, language development, feeding, and swallowing skills.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to support growth.
• Educate families and caregivers on strategies to promote carryover at home.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide coordinated, high-quality care.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
