Job summary

H2 Health is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist for our outpatient team in Chilhowie, Virginia. You will conduct comprehensive evaluations, design individualized plans, and provide evidence-based interventions to enhance communication, cognition, and swallowing functions.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, educate patients and families, and document outcomes using Scribe AI and the Raintree EMR.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current Virginia Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility for licensure.
  • CCC-SLP preferred or eligibility to complete Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
  • CPR certification or willingness to obtain as required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • New graduates and Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive speech-language evaluations and develop individualized plans of care.
  • Assess and treat communication, language, cognitive-linguistic, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions to improve communication skills, cognition, safety, and quality of life.
  • Collaborate with patients, caregivers, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to achieve outcomes.
  • Educate patients and families on treatment strategies, home programs, and techniques.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
  • Utilize Scribe AI-powered documentation technology to streamline documentation and maximize patient care time.
  • Utilize the Raintree EMR platform for documentation, scheduling, and patient management.
  • Contribute to a positive clinic culture focused on patient-centered care and clinical excellence.

H2 Health is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to join our outpatient team in Chilhowie, Virginia. Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred or eligibility to complete Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • CPR certification or willingness to obtain as required
