Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Saint George, SC

Location: Saint George, SC

Position: School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the upcoming school year. This role involves working directly with students to provide speech and language therapy, conduct assessments, and develop individualized education programs (IEPs). Experience in a school setting is preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CF) are also welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student communication needs.
  • Provide therapy sessions in both individual and group settings.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student educational goals.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as an SLP.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred, but not required for CF applicants.
  • Prior experience in a school setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
