Evolve Therapy Services is hiring compassionate Speech-Language Pathologists for an in-house Skilled Nursing Facility in Scotland Neck, NC. This position offers Full Time, Part Time, or PRN options and focuses on delivering high-quality therapy services to residents.

You will plan, develop, and direct speech-language pathology services, adhere to CMS expectations in NetHealth, and oversee FEES/MBS protocols while collaborating with the care team to meet residents' communication and swallowing

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC).
• Active SLP license in state(s) of practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality speech therapy services per standards and productivity expectations.
• Evaluate and obtain data necessary for treatment planning.
• Develop treatment plans with target list, short-term and long-term goals.
• Instruct patient, family, and staff for carryover of therapy goals.
• Complete CMS-compliant documentation in NetHealth EMR systems.
• Oversee FEES/MBS protocols and coordinate site programs.
• Participate in screening protocols to identify resident needs.

Job Position: Speech Language Pathologist for an In-house Skilled Nursing Facility

Job Type: Full Time, Part Time, or PRN

Job Purpose: To assist in planning, organizing, developing, and directing Speech Language Pathology services in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, and as may be direction by Administrator, to assure the highest degree of quality resident care is always maintained.

Job Functions

• To provide quality speech therapy services and initiate referrals when appropriate, in accordance with established standards of practice, therapy department procedures and productivity standards.
• To evaluate and obtain data necessary for treatment planning and implementation
• To develop a treatment plan that includes a target list, short-term, and long-term goals
• Instructs patient, family, and staff in appropriate speech-language procedures to allow carry over of therapeutic remediation and goals in daily activities
• To complete compliant and medically necessary documentation from CMS expectations in NetHealth EMR systems
• Oversight and implementation of proper protocols for FEES/MBS with coordination of site programs
• Participants in screening protocols for establishing needs of residents are being met timely and with clinical excellence

Education & Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
• Certificate of Clinical Competency
• MUST have active SLP license in state(s) of practice.
• Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain current licensure and certification
