Job Summary

The SLP will diagnose, plan, and treat speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive disorders. Responsibilities include documenting treatments, monitoring patient progress, and adjusting therapies as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver treatments per care plan
  • Provide support and instruction to patients, families, and caregivers
  • Assess and record patient functions
  • Monitor responses and modify treatments accordingly
  • Perform billing documentation
  • Complete all required documentation adhering to policies and regulations
Qualifications
  • SNF/Long-term care experience preferred
  • Knowledge of current treatment practices
  • Familiarity with Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred
  • Ability to manage diverse patient personalities
Licensure Requirements
  • Current PA Speech Language Therapist license in good standing
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA
