$7,500 Sign-On Bonus

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a Part-Time or Per Diem opportunity providing home health visits to clients throughout Calvert County.

Position Details

This part-time role involves seeing approximately 15-20 clients per week during hours 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Prior home care experience is a plus but not required. As a home care Speech Language Pathologist, you will be a vital part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team delivering rehabilitative care and skilled nursing to help clients remain at home.

Responsibilities:

• Make home visits to clients in designated areas.
• Perform evaluations to diagnose and treat speech, language, communication, or swallowing issues.
• Develop and update treatment plans based on evaluations and physician’s orders.
• Participate in multidisciplinary care planning.
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitative activities to promote health and independence.
• Document care activities accurately using a touch pad tablet.

Qualifications:

• Current Maryland Speech Language Pathologist license.
• Certificate of clinical competence from ASHA, or equivalent education and experience, and eligibility to take the ASHA certification exam.
• Strong computer skills; experience with EMR preferred.
