Job summary

GALENA ABA, Speech & OT, a pediatric clinic, is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide direct therapy and supervise SLPAs in accordance with Florida regulations.

The role focuses on evaluating and treating pediatric speech disorders, developing individualized plans, and collaborating with therapists, physicians, teachers, and families to ensure coordinated, family-centered care. In-person work location with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Active Florida SLP License.
  • ASHA CCC-SLP preferred (or eligible).
  • Pediatric experience preferred.
  • Experience supervising SLPAs is a plus but not required.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Passion for helping children achieve their highest potential.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat pediatric patients with speech and language disorders.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on each child's unique needs.
  • Provide evidence-based speech therapy services.
  • Supervise and mentor SLPAs, including direct and indirect supervision, documentation review, and clinical guidance.
  • Complete evaluations, progress reports, re-evaluations, and daily documentation.
  • Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, physicians, teachers, and families to provide coordinated, family-centered care.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

We are currently seeking a compassionate and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to provide direct speech therapy services while supervising Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) in accordance with Florida regulations.
