Overview
Rehab Without Walls Neurorehabilitation is hiring a Full Time, Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Houston, TX!

Responsibilities
What you will do:
- Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
- Re-assess treatment effectiveness regularly, attend staffing meetings and family conferences
- Perform discharge evaluations, recommend home and community safety measures, and provide referral and educational resources
- Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physicians, patients, and families
- Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure coordinated care and improve patient outcomes
Qualifications
What you will need:
- Master's Degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program
- Valid Speech Language Pathology license in the state(s) of practice
- Current CPR Certification
- At least one year's experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for complex neurological injuries preferred
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including moving, lifting, and transferring patients up to 100 pounds following safety procedures
- Fine motor skills, visual acuity, and ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Physical requirements include pushing/pulling, bending, reaching, kneeling, and positioning
- Pre-employment health screening may be required
