Job summary

VITAL THERAPY - Avir at Seymour is seeking a Full Time Speech Language Pathologist to join our in-house therapy team. You will deliver comprehensive SLP services to residents with a wide range of conditions, and you will have opportunities to develop programs in dysphagia, aphasia, cognition, and group activities.

We emphasize a collaborative, high-energy interdisciplinary approach and provide ongoing training and career development.

Qualifications

• Licensed in the state of Texas to practice speech-language pathology.
• Preference for experience in skilled nursing or post-acute rehab settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-house speech-language pathology services to patients and residents.
• Develop and lead dysphagia, aphasia, dining, cognition, and group therapy programs.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary therapy team to plan and deliver patient care.
• Support ongoing training and career development opportunities for staff.

AVIR AT SEYMOUR, a skilled nursing and post-acute rehabilitation center, is seeking a Full Time Speech Language Pathologist to join our dedicated in-house therapy team. We seek an SLP who is passionate about delivering the best care to our patients and residents and who wants to be part of a fun, high energy inter-disciplinary therapy team. We see a wide range of orthopedic and neurological conditions and offer you opportunities to develop programs in dysphagia, aphasia, dining, cognition, fun and creative groups, skilled maintenance and many more. In addition, we provide on-going training and career development opportunities.

Vital Therapy is a small but growing network of over 80 skilled nursing and post-acute rehabilitation facilities with in-house therapy teams.
