Job summary

Vital Therapy’s AVIR at New Braunfels, a skilled nursing and post-acute rehabilitation center, seeks a Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist to join our in-house therapy team. You will deliver comprehensive SLP services to residents and collaborate with an interdisciplinary group to maximize outcomes.

Texas license required; experience in neurology/cognition and dysphagia management is a plus. Join a supportive team with opportunities for professional growth and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice Speech-Language Pathology in Texas.
• Experience in skilled nursing or post-acute rehab settings preferred.
• Ability to develop programs for cognition, dysphagia, aphasia and dysphagia management.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive speech-language pathology services to residents.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary therapy team to optimize patient care.
• Develop and implement therapy programs for cognitive, communication and swallowing disorders.
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

AVIR AT NEW BRAUNFELS, a skilled nursing and post-acute rehabilitation center, is seeking a Full Time Speech Language Pathologist to join our dedicated in-house therapy team. We seek an SLP who is passionate about delivering the best care to our patients and residents and who wants to be part of a fun, high energy inter-disciplinary therapy team. We see a wide range of orthopedic and neurological conditions and offer you opportunities to develop programs in cognition, diet and dining, dysphagia, aphasia, skilled maintenance and many more.
