Job summary

Tummy Time Academy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide in-home 1-on-1 therapy for children aged 0–3, with admin support to minimize home prep time and maximize therapy delivery.

You will travel to family settings, assess progress, model activities, and coach caregivers to embed language and social communication goals into daily routines, while maintaining flexibility in scheduling.

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathology license
• Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Active driver’s license with reliable transportation
• Ability to pass required background checks

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-on-1 speech therapy to children 0–3 years in family/homebased settings
• Travel to session locations (home, daycare, playground, library)
• Reflect with family on progress since last session
• Assess child skills and update goals
• Demonstrate activities and adapt play to address expressive/receptive language and social communication
• Guide families to integrate activities into daily routines
• Share session notes with families using provided technology and email
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team and update therapy plan as needed
• Initial and annual evaluations performed by a separate team

Overview:

Tummy Time Academy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist interested in a career that schedules around your life, works 1-on-1 with families, and brings out your inner child and creativity.

Our dedicated admin staff alleviates the pressure of doing prep & paperwork at home, so you’ll be able to focus on doing therapy.

As an early intervention SLP, you’ll be helping children ages 0-3 and teach families on how they can help their child achieve their established goals!

What Your Day with Tummy Time Academy Would Look Like:

• Providing 1-on-1 speech therapy to children ages 0-3 years old at their everyday settings (i.e. family’s home, daycare, playground, library) using toys & routines based on that location.

• Travel to location of session (family’s home, daycare, playground, library).

• Reflecting with family on progress since last session.

• Observing & assessing your assigned child’s skills to determine strengths/needs as it relates to their goal.

• Demonstrating activities for your assigned child by adapting play to focus on addressing concerns in expressive language, receptive language, and social communication.

• Teaching & guiding families on adapting their play and problem solving on how they can fit these activities into their daily routines to assist with achieving their goal.

• Sharing and reviewing the session note with families using family-friendly language via provided technology and email at the end of session.

• Collaborate and meet with other professionals who are part of child’s multi-disciplinary team to share quarterly progress reports and plan/update the child and family’s speech therapy plan as needed.

• Initial and annual evaluations are completed by a different team
