Job summary

Metro Therapy, Inc., a Powerback Pediatrics company, seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver pediatric EI services in home or center settings across New York.

Candidates must hold a master’s degree in SLP, ASHA CCC or CF status, and be licensed or eligible for licensure; DOH approval is required. Benefi ts include medical, dental, vision, PTO and continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or similar field.
• ASHA CCC or CF status is required or eligible.
• Licensed, certified or credentialed as required in the state of practice.
• DOH approval is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide Speech Therapy services to children in Early Intervention settings (home or center).
• Conduct evaluations and track child progress.
• Deliver services per IFSP mandates.
• Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to support goals.

Education

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence OR CF status

State licensure or credentialing as required

Responsibilities

• Provide Speech Therapy services to children in a variety of settings in the Early Intervention program which may include the home or center.
• Performs evaluations and assessments and tracks child progress.
• Delivers Speech Therapy services as mandated in the IFSP.
• Collaborate with other families, caregivers, educators, and other professionals to support the goals of each child.
• Complete documentation and progress notes.

Qualifications

• Must possess a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders or similarly titled area that is consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
• Must possess or be eligible for a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or be eligible to participate as an ASHA Clinical Fellow, or ASHA clinical fellowship (CF status).
• Must be licensed, certified or credentialed, as required in the state of practice.
• DOH approval is required.

Posted Salary Range

USD $54.00 - USD $90.00 /Hr.
