Qualifications

• Must reside within a commutable distance to NYP.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside dysphagia evaluations, FEES studies, and MBS studies.
• Conduct speech and language assessments and treatments.
• Work full-time, 8:30am to 4:30pm, including weekends.

Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Days

Join NewYork-Presbyterian/Lower Manhattan Hospital, where you will be part of a dedicated rehab team providing inpatient care including bedside dysphagia evaluations, FEES studies, MBS studies, trach/Passy-Muir valve management, and speech and language assessments and treatments.

This full-time role is scheduled from 8:30am to 4:30pm, with at least 2 weekend commitments per month.

Preferred Criteria

• Competency with MBSS and/or FEES
• Specialized training in dysphagia and communication evaluations and treatment

Required Criteria

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Certification in Speech-Language Pathology by the American Speech and Hearing Association within one year of hire
• Licensure as a Speech Pathologist by the State of New York within one year of hire
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification

All roles require on-site presence; employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP. Travel expenses are not reimbursed.
