Job summary

MDS Staffing in Mobile, AL is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to empower young children and build foundational communication skills in a warm, play-based daycare and early learning environment.

You will evaluate and assess, design evidence-based therapy plans, collaborate with teachers and families, track progress, and advocate for children’s language development in daily classroom routines.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
• Valid Georgia State License in Speech-Language Pathology (or active eligibility); CCC-SLP preferred (Clinical Fellows / CFYs welcome to apply).
• Experience with pediatric populations, early intervention, or early childhood settings is a strong plus.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with an adaptable, playful approach and passion for early child development.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate & Assess: Conduct play-based speech, language, and early communication assessments for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
• Targeted Intervention: Design and deliver evidence-based therapy plans tailored to early childhood learning styles and milestones.
• Team Collaboration: Work with daycare teachers, early childhood specialists, and parents to integrate communication strategies into daily routines.
• Progress Tracking: Monitor milestones and adapt strategies to support growth in speech and language development.

What You Bring
