Job description

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) | Chatterboxes

Our innovative Sanctuary Model has been meticulously crafted to address the pressing issue of burnout while simultaneously promoting clinical excellence. This model serves as a foundation for creating a nurturing and supportive environment for SLPs, allowing team members to flourish and evolve at every stage of their careers.

We're genuinely excited to expand our impact in the rural and suburban schools of Oklahoma, where we aim to deliver exceptional services to children and families. Our commitment goes beyond just service delivery; we strive to foster an environment that truly nurtures the growth and well-being of SLPs, ensuring that our SLPs thrive in their professional roles while also being highly valued and connected within this remarkable and supportive SLP community.

Why Our Culture is Different

Never Alone: You'll be part of a built-in network of SLP colleagues, not a one-off hire dropped into a school by a large agency.

Continuous Growth: We offer weekly professional development, CEU support, and mentorship tailored to your stage of practice; from CF to seasoned clinician.

Upward Mobility: We create career paths beyond direct services, we offer our team leadership roles, inservice facilitations, mentorship, community outreach and special projects to leverage your clinical knowledge.

Vibrant Culture: Whether it's celebrating workiversaries, enjoying SLP Sanctuary dinners, participating in Round Robin breakout sessions, or engaging with Guest Speakers during our Team Meetings and Clinical Presentations, we're dedicated to making your professional journey a fulfilling and joyful experience filled with recognition and support!

Prioritizing Wellbeing: At the heart of our Sanctuary Model lies a commitment to safeguard your time, energy, and overall balance. We hold the belief that when clinicians flourish, kids do too!

Your SLP Role:

  • Deliver school-based therapy services for students ranging from PreK to 12th grade
  • Conduct evaluations, provide therapy, and work closely with educators and families
  • Adopt a strengths-based, neurodiversity-affirming approach for each child you support
  • Enjoy the flexibility to tailor your caseload with input from your team
