Evolve Therapy Services is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for an in-house Skilled Nursing Facility in Pikesville, MD. This full-time role focuses on planning, directing, and delivering speech pathology services in accordance with state and federal guidelines.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Speech Language Pathology, CCC-SLP, an active license, and ongoing continuing education. Experience with NetHealth EMR is preferred, and benefits include competitive pay and growth

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology required.
• CCC-SLP credential must be current/active.
• Active state licensure in practice states required.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality speech therapy services and initiate referrals as appropriate.
• Evaluate and collect data for treatment planning and implementation.
• Develop treatment plans with short-term and long-term goals.
• Instruct patient, family and staff to carry over therapy goals.
• Complete CMS-compliant documentation in NetHealth EMR.
• Oversee FEES/MBS protocols and coordinate site programs.

Job Position: Speech Language Pathologist for an In-house Skilled Nursing Facility

Job Type: Full Time

Job Purpose: To assist in planning, organizing, developing, and directing Speech Language Pathology services in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, and as may be direction by Administrator, to assure the highest degree of quality resident care is always maintained.

Job Functions:

• To provide quality speech therapy services and initiate referrals when appropriate, in accordance with established standards of practice, therapy department procedures and productivity standards.

• To evaluate and obtain data necessary for treatment planning and implementation

• To develop a treatment plan that includes a target list, short-term, and long-term goals

• Instructs patient, family, and staff in appropriate speech-language procedures to allow carry over of therapeutic remediation and goals in daily activities

• To complete compliant and medically necessary documentation from CMS expectations in NetHealth EMR systems

• Oversight and implementation of proper protocols for FEES/MBS with coordination of site programs

• Participants in screening protocols for establishing needs of residents are being met timely and with clinical excellence

Education & Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology

• Certificate of Clinical Competency

• MUST have active SLP license in state(s) of practice.

• Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain current licensure and certification
