Job summary

Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation in Marlton, NJ is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (CCC) with hospital experience to join our inpatient rehabilitation team on a per diem basis. The role offers $56 per hour plus shift differential and requires weekday and weekend coverage from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

You will evaluate assigned patients, develop and modify treatment plans, and provide direction for therapy services while educating patients, families, students and staff.

Qualifications

  • Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language & Hearing Association or eligibility for Certification.
  • Certified BLS through American Heart Association required

Responsibilities

  • Evaluates assigned patients and establishes appropriate treatment goals and treatment programs.
  • Develops comprehensive goals for patient treatment to maximize outcomes and return to community activities.
  • Coordinates treatment program with other clinical/therapeutic services and available community resources.

Position: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) CCC & Hospital experience required

Location: Marlton, NJ

Schedule: Per Diem (PRN) 8:30AM to 5pm weekday and weekend needs

Compensation: $56/hr + Shift Differential

As a SLP you will evaluate all assigned patients and develops, implements and modifies treatment plan in accordance with the patient’s need and physician direction. Responsible for delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services for those assigned patients. Ensures the design of functional treatment programs allowing for an effective return to community activities. Serves as an educator of patients, families, students, co-workers and self. Performs other professional duties associated with the care of the patient, development of discipline-specific therapy services and design of program delivery.

Minimum Requirements

  • Certified BLS through American Heart Association required
Preferred Experienece
  • Two (2) years of experience
