Job summary

Kessler Institute For Rehabilitation, Inc. in Marlton, NJ is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) CCC with hospital experience for weekend per diem coverage.

The SLP will evaluate patients, develop and modify treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patient return to community activities. Current state licensure or eligibility, ASHA CCC or eligibility, and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist required.
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology from ASHA or eligibility for Certification pending professional experience required.
• Certified BLS through American Heart Association required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates assigned patients and establishes appropriate treatment goals and treatment programs.
• Develops comprehensive goals for patient treatment to maximize outcomes and return to community activities.
• Coordinates treatment program with other clinical services and available community resources.

Position: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) CCC & Hospital experience required

Location: Marlton, NJ

Schedule: Per Diem (PRN) 8:30AM to 5pm Weekend Needs Only

Compensation: $56/hr + Shift Differential

As a SLP you will evaluate all assigned patients and develops, implements and modifies treatment plan in accordance with the patient’s need and physician direction. Responsible for delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services for those assigned patients. Ensures the design of functional treatment programs allowing for an effective return to community activities. Serves as an educator of patients, families, students, co-workers and self. Performs other professional duties associated with the care of the patient, development of discipline-specific therapy services and design of program delivery.

Minimum Requirements

• Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist required
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language & Hearing Association or eligibility for Certification pending professional experience required
• Certified BLS through American Heart Association required

Preferred Experienece

• Two (2) years of experience
