Job summary

Symbria in Massachusetts is seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to support the geriatric population across Sacred Heart Nursing Home and Our Lady of Fairhaven. The position splits between two buildings with travel time paid, and is a Monday–Friday schedule.

You will set goals, design and carry out treatment plans, and contribute to an interdisciplinary team while meeting productivity standards and completing documentation.

Qualifications

  • Be a graduate of an accredited school for Speech Language Pathologists.
  • Hold a valid or pending state license.
  • Acute care/long-term care/rehabilitation experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Establish goals and execute treatment plans.
  • Develop and implement clinical and educational SLP programs.
  • Maintain productivity standards and complete required documentation.
  • Support patients to achieve critical outcomes as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Overview

Are you a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with a desire to impact the lives of the older adult population? If so, our Rehab Team at Sacred Heart Nursing Home and Our Lady of Fairhaven is seeking its next employee-owner team member.

Please note that this position will split between 2 buildings: travel time will be paid between Sacred Heart and Our Lady of Fairhaven. This is a Monday-Friday role.

Responsibilities

As a Full Time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), you will establish appropriate goals and creatively execute the treatment plans along with developing and implementing clinical and educational SLP programs. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be required to maintain productivity standards and complete required documentation. More importantly, you will help your patients achieve critical outcomes while acting as a trusted partner to the community you serve.

Qualifications
  • Be a graduate of an accredited school for Speech Language Pathologists. Must hold CCC's
  • Hold a valid or pending state license.
  • It’s great to have had acute care, long-term care and/or rehabilitation experience but not always required!
