Job summary

Flagstar Rehab is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for full-time roles in skilled nursing facilities across NYC and surrounding areas. You will perform evaluations, treat patients, and educate families as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements include NYS SLP license, CCC, CPR, and EMR proficiency. We offer a choice between direct employment or independent contractor arrangements, weekly pay, and competitive hourly rates.

Qualifications

• Must hold NYS SLP license and CCC.
• CPR certification required.
• Experience with EMR systems and SNF settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform efficient speech and swallow evaluations.

Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Skilled Nursing Facility

Now Staffing Full Time Speech Language Pathologists for Rehab Department in state-of-the-art SNFs throughout NYC and Surrounding Areas.

Flagstar Rehab SLPs work with a diverse and multi-disciplinary team to perform evaluations, treatments, and patient/family education to improve the speech and swallow capabilities of their patients and improve ability to function in their daily lives. *Not accepting Clinical Fellows (CFY) at this time.

Pay Rate: $46-$48 Hourly (W-2), $57-$60 Hourly (1099)

Speech Language Pathologist Job Duties:

• Provide efficient speech or swallow evaluations and/or screens of patients
• Develop plan of care, downgrade/upgrade as appropriate, manage meal texture
• Provide quality therapy services to individuals in an SNF setting, who require care related to TBI, CVA, Stroke, Parkinson's, Multiple Sclerosis, Cancer, orthopedic surgery, and other debilitating diagnosis.
• Monitor and document patient progress with the use of innovative EMR software.
