Position Details

We are seeking a Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) at Silver Spring Healthcare Center. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our brand new facility and team.

Our therapists are In-House Team Members, providing a direct impact on residents through therapy. CommuniCare is a rapidly growing company with 170 centers across IN, MD, OH, PA, VA, WV.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an Accredited Program
  • Valid or Pending State Speech Language Pathology License
Responsibilities
  • Evaluate, review, and screen patient’s medical charts and develop treatment plans based on needs
  • Conduct rehabilitative treatment programs to improve communication, swallowing, and cognitive issues
  • Instruct residents, families, and caregivers on monitoring speech and practicing skills
  • Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and family education
