Position: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

This is a PRN opening for a Speech Language Pathologist at Fort Washington Healthcare Center, where our therapists are part of an in-house team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Evaluate, review, and screen patients' medical charts; develop treatment plans based on physician orders and patient needs
• Plan and conduct rehabilitative treatments to improve communication, swallowing, and cognitive functions; administer and interpret speech tests
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on speech monitoring, practicing new skills, diet, and safe swallowing techniques
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and family education sessions
