Job summary

TLC - The Treatment and Learning Centers in Rockville, MD seeks a Speech Language Pathologist for our Outpatient Pediatrics Clinic on a PRN basis with evening and Saturday hours. Work is 4-20 hours per week, with a set weekly schedule based on preferences.

Direct therapy pays $56-66/hr on weekdays and $64-70/hr on Saturdays, with pediatric experience and MD licensure required. Join a supportive team in a flexible on-site role.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Speech Pathology, Speech and Hearing Sciences or equivalent
• CCC's required
• Pediatric experience essential
• MD licensure required
• Experience with AAC, feeding therapy, oro-facial disorders, and multilingual intervention a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide direct therapy to pediatric clients in outpatient setting
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop treatment plans
• Document progress notes and maintain timely patient records

This is a perfect opportunity for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) seeking to take on additional hours. Must be able to work between 4-20 hours per week during peak therapy times, which includes 4:00-7:00PM Monday-Thursday, 3:00-5:00PM Friday, and 8:00AM- 2:00PM on Saturday. The hiring manager will work with the applicant to create a set weekly schedule based on the applicant's preferences for days of the week and timings within these peak times.

Required Experience

Requirements for the (SLP) Speech Language Pathologist:

• Masters degree in Speech Pathology, Speech and Hearing Sciences or equivalent degree
• Applicants must have CCC's
• Must have pediatric experience
• Must have licensed by the State of MD
• Have strong diagnostic evaluation and report writing skills
• Experience in AAC, Feeding therapy, Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders, and/or multilingual intervention a plus
