Responsibilities

  • Designs and implements intervention programs, which remediate deficit speech/language skills of identified patients.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members on care plans and provide speech pathology training to team members as needed.
  • Educate clients and families on speech therapy techniques and related challenges.
  • Document all evaluation data, treatments, and client progress promptly.
  • Participate in the periodic revision of care plans, updating the physician on client status and obtaining additional orders as required.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher learning is required.
  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license/credential is required.
  • Current BLS Certification.
  • Strong emotional resilience and physical stamina, including the ability to stand, stoop, and bend frequently.
  • Excellent judgment, communication, and observational skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
