Pay Package

Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,714/week

Travel compensation packages may include a mix of taxable pay and stipends, depending on eligibility.

Position Overview

Trinity Healthcare Talent Services is seeking a Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for an acute care assignment in San Antonio, TX.

This role involves working with a diverse patient population, including medical, neurological, orthopedic, and stroke patients, in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations for speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Treat patients across acute care settings, including bedside evaluations
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient-centered care
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and progress
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Assist with program development and departmental initiatives

Requirements

• Active Texas SLP License
• ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) REQUIRED
• BLS Certification (AHA)
• Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology
• Strong clinical and communication skills
• Schedule: Thursday–Monday (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
• 40 hours guaranteed
• Patient population: adults (with some NICU exposure)
• Focus on stroke, neuro, ortho, and general medical cases
