Qualifications

  • DOE certification and ability to obtain AHCCCS/NPI.

Responsibilities

  • Provide speech and language services to K-12 students.
  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Write evaluation reports and contribute to IEP development.
  • Program, monitor and maintain AAC devices and communication systems.
  • Collaborate with teachers, OTs, PTs and families.
  • Monitor progress and maintain documentation.
  • Complete Medicaid billing and required service records.
  • Attend IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings.
  • Promote functional communication and classroom participation.

What You’ll Do

Qualifications

Required:

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Arizona SLP License
  • Arizona Department of Education Certificate
  • Ability to obtain an AHCCCS Provider Number and NPI
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Preferred:
  • Arizona Hearing Screening Certificate
  • Experience with AAC devices and communication systems
  • Experience working with students with developmental disabilities
Work Environment
  • School-based setting serving K-12 students
