Qualifications

Job description

Pediatric Therapeutic Services (PTS) is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services for Early Intervention - Preschool (ages 3-5) in Delaware County.

School Building Information:

Itinerant caseload - travel between locations for each student will be required. Also have classroom SLP needs.

  5. Lending Library: PTS recognizes the additional expense in providing evaluation materials. We have an extensive library of testing tools and assessments for therapists to borrow as needed.
Responsibilities:
  1. Implement specialized therapy treatment, techniques, and instruction in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) of students being served.
  2. Participate in IEP and multi-disciplinary team meetings to evaluate student needs/progress and develop or revise therapy interventions, objectives, and goals.
  3. Collaborate with teaching staff to plan and implement classroom-based activities and instructional techniques to ensure carry-over of learning.
  4. Provide consultative services to parents regarding their child's therapy program.
  5. Maintain all required student documentation and reports in compliance with deadlines, confidentiality laws, and applicable regulations.
