Job summary

Personal Touch Home Care is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to provide home-based therapy across Manhattan and the Bronx. The role focuses on evaluating and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in pediatric and adult caseloads, delivered in patients' homes.

The successful candidate will hold an active NY SLP license and a graduate degree from an accredited program. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

  • Active New York State SLP license required.
  • Graduate of an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Home care experience preferred, but not required.
  • Experience with pediatric, adult, special needs, or geriatric populations is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech and language abilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
  • Provide therapy to individuals of all ages, addressing articulation, fluency, voice, and language.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Educate patients and their families about communication strategies and home exercises.
  • Stay current with best practices and advancements in speech therapy.

Personal Touch Home Care is expanding our Special Needs Program and seeking compassionate Speech Language Pathologists who are passionate about delivering high-quality care in the home setting.

We are currently hiring a full-time SLP to provide home-based care throughout Manhattan & the Bronx to support our growing pediatric and adult caseloads.

Pay: $110,000.00-$115,000.00/annually

To be considered, candidates must have a valid and active New York State SLP license.

Job Overview

As a Speech Language Pathologist with Personal Touch Home Care, you'll be responsible for evaluating and treating individuals with speech, language, and communication disorders, helping them improve their communication skills and quality of life.
