Responsibilities

  • Evaluate residents with speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on resident needs and goals.
  • Provide evidence-based therapy for communication, cognition, voice, and dysphagia.
  • Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment plans to maximize functional outcomes.
  • Collaborate with physical, occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, and families.
  • Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with standards.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate residents with speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on resident needs and goals
  • Provide evidence-based therapy for communication, cognition, voice, and dysphagia
  • Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment plans to maximize functional outcomes
  • Collaborate with Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, nursing staff, physicians, and families to coordinate care
  • Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
