Job description

AnthroMed Education is an organization that fosters a community of dedicated Special Educators in the Speech and Language Pathology field. AnthroMed Education is immediately seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist in Joliet, IL to provide Speech and Language services to a K-4 th grade student population for the remainder of the 2023-2024 school year.

Caseload Details of the Speech-Language Pathologist role:

• Provide therapy and support services to K-4 th grade students.
• Manage a caseload of approximately 36 students.
• Extremely supportive team with incredible resources for students available.

Responsibilities of the Speech-Language Pathologist:

• Work full-time, Monday-Friday from 8:15 AM-3:45 PM.
• Provide speech therapy for K-4th grade students with IEPs and MTSS services.
• Complete formal and informal assessments as part of the MTSS and IEP processes.
• SLP will manage a caseload of approximately 36 students.
• The caseload consists mostly of articulation students.
• Act as a case manager for students whose primary eligibility category is speech-language impairment.
• Complete all job duties within required timelines per federal and state law, district policy, and procedures.
• Participate in multidisciplinary evaluation teams to identify students in need of special education.
• Participate in team meetings for the development of students’ individualized education programs.
• SLP will be sharing an office space but will have space to pull out students, etc.

Qualifications:

• ISBE PEL with Speech-Language Pathology Endorsement is required.
• Master’s Degree from top Communication Sciences and Disorders program.
• Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply!
• The pay range for this position is 50,000-70,000K annually, based on qualifications and experience.
• Paid Time Off starts at 6 days and is prorated based on the start date.
