Job summary

Fort Wayne Health Campus is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat residents with communication and swallowing difficulties. You will work on an interdisciplinary team to help residents regain communication, independence, and quality of life.

This role requires Indiana licensure, a Master's in Speech-Language Pathology, and experience with older adults. We offer a sign-on bonus, competitive pay, benefits, PTO, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
  • Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Indiana
  • Experience working with older adults and individuals with communication disorders
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of residents with communication disorders or swallowing difficulties
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address specific needs and goals
  • Provide speech-language pathology services to residents, including individual and group sessions
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
  • Monitor and document resident progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of resident assessments, treatments, and progress
