Job summary

The VIOS Clinic is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide direct speech therapy rehabilitation to patients in a skilled nursing facility setting, supporting long-term care and short-term rehabilitation needs.

Responsibilities include assessing and modifying patient-specific goals, documenting progress in therapy software, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, and supervising CFY SLPs when applicable.

Qualifications

• MS or MA in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• ASHA CCC or CFY eligibility; maintain certification.
• Active state licensure in good standing; CPR certification required.
• Preferred 1 year of experience; new graduates welcome.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and email communication.
• Knowledge of post-acute care practices and confidentiality standards.

• Supervise and evaluate Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) SLPs if applicable.
• Participate in community health initiatives and ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
• Maintain professional relationships, confidentiality, and demonstrate excellent customer service.
• Assist in emergency procedures and support patient safety and rights.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited speech therapy program (MS or MA).
• ASHA certification (CCC) or eligible for CFY; maintain certification.
• Active state licensure in good standing; CPR certification required.
• Preferred one year of experience; new graduates are welcome.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email communication.
• Strong decision-making, body mechanics, and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of post-acute care practices, regulations, and confidentiality standards.
