Regency Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Wilmington, DE seeks a PRN Speech-Language Pathologist to join the rehabilitation team on a per diem basis. The role involves evaluating and diagnosing speech, language, and swallowing disorders and developing individualized plans of care using standardized tests and measures.

The position requires ASHA CCC and Delaware licensure, with opportunities to supervise CFY provisional licensees and students as needed while delivering high-quality resident

Formación

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent.
• CCC-ASHA certification required.
• Licensure/credentialing in Delaware required.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Regency Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center is a 100-bed skilled nursing facility located in Wilmington, DE. We are currently seeking a PRN Speech Therapist to join our rehabilitation team.

Shift type:

• Per Diem

Job Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and diagnose any speech, language, communication, and/or swallowing disorders.

• Develop an individualized plan of care to facilitate optimal performance using standardized tests and measures as evidence for improvement.

• Identify the need for and make a referral to other disciplines to address the comprehensive needs of the patient.

• As necessary, supervises CFY provisional licensees, students, and support personnel in accordance with state licensure requirements and professional standards.

• Perform other duties as assigned and required to provide quality care to residents.

Qualifications:

• Must possess a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders, or a similarly titled area that is consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language Hearing Association

• Must possess a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language- Hearing Association (ASHA)

• Must be licensed, certified, or credentialed as required in DE.

• Requires good organizational and time management skills.

• Requires good verbal and written communication skills.
