Job summary

Building Connections Academy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to work with students, helping them develop communication skills that unlock learning.

You will evaluate, provide therapy, participate in IEP meetings, and collaborate with teachers and families as part of a supportive interdisciplinary team.

A Master’s in SLP, CCC-SLP, and state licensure or eligibility are required; flexible schedule and career growth opportunities are offered in the Bay Area.

Qualifications

Your Role:

You will work directly with students to help them develop the communication skills that unlock learning, friendships, and independence.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing speech and language therapy services.
• Conducting evaluations and participating in IEP meetings.
• Collaborating with teachers and families.
• Developing individualized treatment plans that help students thrive.

What We’re Looking For:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
• State license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Required immunizations including MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella), Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis), Varicella (Chicken Pox), Hep B, and TB clearance (within 4 years).
