Job summary

Canton Center for Nursing and Healing in Canton, GA seeks a compassionate Speech-language Pathologist (SLP) to help patients overcome communication disorders and regain independence. You will conduct evaluations, design treatment plans, and deliver therapy across individual and group sessions.

Join our team to support residents in a long-term care setting. A Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required, with knowledge of long-term care regulations and a commitment to patient-centered

Qualifications

• Master's degree in speech-language pathology required.
• Knowledge of skilled nursing home regulations and long-term care guidelines.
• Ability to lift, transfer, and move patients as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech-language evaluations and diagnose communication disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Provide speech therapy interventions, individually and in group sessions, under supervision as needed.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on communication strategies and techniques.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of patient treatment and progress.
