Premier Rehab & Healthcare at Burlington is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team in Burlington, Vermont.
Pay: $42–$52 per hour
As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will provide individualized, person-centered therapy to residents and patients while working alongside a collaborative interdisciplinary team. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference while working in a supportive rehabilitation environment.
Perform comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' speech, language, communication, cognitive, and swallowing needs.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation findings, patient needs, and functional goals.
Provide evidence-based speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing therapy interventions.
Establish realistic and measurable short- and long-term treatment goals.
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
Provide education and training to patients, families, caregivers, and other members of the care team.
Collaborate with nursing, therapy, medical, and other interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care.
Maintain accurate, complete, and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies and applicable state and federal regulations.
Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary meetings as appropriate.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, caregivers, and members of the healthcare team.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Rehabilitation.
Master's or doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Current and valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in the State of Vermont.
Must be in good standing with all applicable licensing and regulatory agencies.
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
Previous experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or geriatric rehabilitation is preferred but not required.
Strong clinical, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
