Job summary

Eduro Healthcare is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to join Yellowstone River Nursing and Rehabilitation in Billings, MT on a PRN basis. The in-house SLP collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality geriatric care and dementia-focused programming.

You will evaluate residents, develop rehab plans, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with all regulations while benefiting from a comprehensive benefits package and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathologist program.
Active SLP license or CFY in the state of employment.
Experience with geriatric patients is a plus.
Complete orientation required by company policy.
Health screening and TB test within two weeks of employment.
Comply with local, state, and federal regulations relating to the job.
Show within three days of hire satisfactory evidence of identity and eligibility for employment.

Responsibilities

Evaluate a Resident's condition and develop an appropriate SLP rehabilitation plan.
Help Residents through their tasks and monitor their performance.
Inform Residents what they should anticipate in different stages of their recovery and how they will handle each situation.
Maintain Resident confidence and protect facility operations by keeping information confidential.
Supervise the activities of CFYs when required.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.
Contribute to inter-disciplinary team efforts in resident care.

Yellowstone River Nursing and Rehabilitation, formally known as Avantera is currently searching for a talented in-house Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team! Eduro Healthcare is the new operator, and our therapists are hired in-house so we can have better communication and collaboration with the entire facility.

We train our SLPs in dementia care, PDPM, skilled maintenance, and many more programming topics.

Speech Language Pathologist Requirements

Must be a graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathologist program.
Must hold current and active SLP license or registration in state employed or CFY
