Job summary

New Story Schools is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to empower students ages 5–21 by building communication skills, supporting IEP goals, and collaborating with educators, families, and therapists.

You will assess, plan, implement, and monitor individualized speech-language programs, documenting progress and outcomes in a data-driven way in a school setting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
• Active ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) required
• Experience working in schools or clinical settings with students with special needs
• Knowledge of IEP development and implementation
• Strong collaboration, organization, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
• Partner with multidisciplinary teams and families to deliver targeted speech-language therapy
• Monitor progress, adjust plans, and document student growth clearly
• Create and evaluate IEP goals and provide data-driven updates for ongoing support
• Use behavior management and engagement strategies to create a positive learning environment

As a Speech Language Pathologist at New Story Schools, you'll empower students to find their voice, build communication skills, and gain confidence. You'll work closely with educators, families, and therapists to deliver individualized speech and language support that helps each student reach their full potential.

What You'll Need

• Master's degree from an accredited academic program in Speech-Language Pathology

• Active ASHA certification (CCC-SLP)

• Experience working in a school or clinical setting with students who have special needs

• Knowledge of Individualized Education Plan (IEP) development and implementation

• Strong collaboration, organization, and communication skills
