Summary: Provides Speech Language Pathology services to patients of all ages, including adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. Responsibilities include evaluating speech, articulation, fluency, voice, language, oral pharyngeal function, or cognitive communicative functions; developing goals and treatment plans in collaboration with patients and families; executing treatment programs; providing education to patients, families, and caregivers; and supervising Speech Language Pathology students and support staff in compliance with hospital and state policies.

Education: Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program; passing score on the ASHA national exam; Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA. Clinical Fellows are considered.

Licensure: Licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist from the Rhode Island Department of Health. Reliable transportation is required for servicing off-site locations.

Experience: One year of experience preferred.
