Under the direction of the Administrator, SELPA / Special Education and assigned supervisor, provide itinerant services at various school sites to students with communicative disorders.
Requirements / Qualifications
Two (2) Letters of Reference / Recommendation are REQUIRED. It is recommended that letters of references be authored by professional affiliations and specific to the open position. Speech Language Pathologists hired during the 2023 - 2024 school year shall be entitled to a $20,000.00 signing bonus, payable over a two-year period as follows:
When a Speech Language Pathologist is hired mid-year or on a pro-rated contract, the signing bonus shall be pro-rated in the same proportion as the Speech Language Pathologist’s employment contract. Salary Placement: The successful applicant will be placed on the appropriate salary schedule based on the range of the position being filled. The successful applicant will be placed on Step 1 unless given credit for prior verified related professional experience. Applicant shall provide all related professional experience on application materials to complete the years of experience verification.
