Job summary
New Solutions is seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to join our Idaho team. The role involves conducting comprehensive assessments, developing individualized care plans, and collaborating with patients and families to optimize communication and swallowing outcomes.
The candidate must hold a Master's in Speech-Language Pathology with current state licensure and BLS certification within 60 days of hire.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
- Current licensure with the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology.
- BLS certification within 60 days of hire.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with diverse communication and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans using evidence-based interventions.
- Collaborate with patients and families to ensure effective treatment outcomes.
- Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
- Provide education and counseling to patients and families about communication strategies and support.
- Assist with discharge planning and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
- Supervise clinical fellows, students, and support personnel following professional standards.
