Job summary

Encore at Parkside in Newark, Delaware is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for both Skilled and Outpatient Departments. A $2,500 sign-on bonus is offered, payable in installments with a one-year employment commitment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited SLP program.
• Current DE state licensure.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
• Provide skilled therapy interventions, perform re-evaluations, and maintain accurate, timely documentation.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, participate in care conferences, and make appropriate referrals as needed.
• Educate patients and families, coordinate adaptive communication devices, and ensure patient safety and equipment maintenance.
• Supervise CFYs and support staff as applicable and perform FEES if qualified and trained.
