Job summary

Berkley Manor Care Center in Denver seeks a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide direct rehab care in speech therapy for patients referred by physicians. In-house rehab program, ED reimbursement, and mentorship for new grads support career growth.

Requirements include MS/MA in Speech-Language Pathology, ASHA CCCs or CFY eligibility, active state licensure, and CPR certification. CPR must remain current during employment.

Qualifications

• MS or MA SLP degree from an accredited program.
• ASHA CCCs or CFY eligibility to earn CCCs.
• Active state licensure in good standing.
• One year experience preferred; new grads welcome.
• CPR certification required or obtained during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Establish, assess, and modify realistic, measurable goals.
• Oversee and evaluate care given by SLP CFYs (CCC required for CFY).
• Follow treatment plans for CFYs under supervision.
• Chart appropriately and timely.
• Utilize therapy software accurately.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service to patients.
• Participate in team-based care and ensure patient safety.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to policies.
