Job description

Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Part-Time

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a part-time opportunity in Anne Arundel County.

This position involves servicing seniors within 1-2 communities, providing home health care without extensive commuting.

Responsibilities:
  1. Make home visits to clients in designated areas.
  2. Perform evaluations and provide therapeutic interventions for speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties.
  3. Develop and revise treatment plans based on evaluations and physician's orders.
  4. Participate in multidisciplinary care planning.
  5. Educate patients and families on rehabilitative care and safety activities.
  6. Document patient observations and interventions using electronic devices.
Qualifications:
  1. Current Maryland Speech Language Pathologist license.
  2. Certificate of clinical competence from ASHA or equivalent educational and work experience, with ongoing certification process.
  3. Strong computer skills; EMR experience preferred.
